12 Days Wildlife Safari Uaganda

Day 1: Entebbe
Early in the morning, after breakfast, the guide will drive to Uganda wildlife education centre in Entebbe. Here animals are in cages and most orphans or they were rescued from the hands of poachers. Lions can be seen, rhinos, some antelopes and birds like flamingoes. The afternoon can be spent relaxing at botanical beach. Dinner and overnight at botanical hotel

Day 2; Entebbe to Murchison falls national park
The guide will drive you from the hotel to the magnificent Murchison falls national park. You will have stopover at ziwa rhino sanctuary where rhinos, crocodiles, birds can be seen and after have lunch at masindi. From here the guide will drive you straight to the park. Upon reaching, check in at paraa safari or red chill for budget. In the evening, go for game drive via the northern part of the river Nile which is a home for animals like hippos, antelopes, elephants and others. Dinner and overnight at Red chilli rest camp.

Day 3; Game drive
In the morning after breakfast from the camp, head for wild life drive at around the area of Biligi on the point between Albert and Victoria Niles. Most of the animals can be seen on the Albert, Queen and Victoria tracks like lions, elephants, antelopes, warthogs and others. Lunch will be got from the camp. After resting abit, continue for nature walks along the north bank of the Nile by paraa safari lodge. The trail is popular for bird watching and if lucky, you are likely to see some animals. Dinner and overnight at red chill rest camp.

Day 4; Murchison to kibale forest national park
In the morning, after breakfast, the driver will drive you to kibale forest national park having lunch enrout. No activity will take place on this day because the takes for the whole day. Upon reaching, check in at primate lodge for overnight and dinner.

Day 5 - Kibale Forest & Bigodi Swamp
In the morning, after breakfast, go in search of the wild chimpanzee families, the red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white Columbus monkeys and many other primates in Kibale Forest. After a traditional lunch in Bigodi Village, we will visit the swamp, known for its rich diversity of birds and primates. Dinner and overnight at primate lodge.

Day 6 - Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning you can enjoy the majestic Rwenzori Mountains in its full glory, where you will have a guided nature walk at the foothills and have a glimpse of the village life. We transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, in the afternoon with a small game drive on our way to our accommodation in the middle of the park. Dinner and overnight at mweya safari lodge

Day 7 - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast go game drive in kisenyi area which is known for animals like lions, elephants and other wild animals in their natural habitat. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy some more of the African wildlife, like hippos in thousands, herds of elephants, birds like king fishers and many more. Dinner and overnight at mweya safari lodge.

Day 8 - Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Enjoy a nature walk in Maramagambo Forest, famous for the Blue Lake and Bat Caves. Or go in search of the chimpanzees in Kyambura Wildlife Reserve, a beautiful gorge completely covered with tropical rainforest (optional, not included).lunch at jacana safari lodge or kyambura game lodge. In the afternoon transfer to Bwindi, home of the endangered nearly extinct mountain gorillas. Upon reaching, check in at silverback lodge for overnight and dinner

Day 9: Gorilla Tracking Tour
With your packed Lunch and drinking water , you will head to park headquarters for briefing and there after,  be led by experienced trackers who will bring you amongst a family of mountain gorillas. The incredible primates are extremely rare; very few people in the world are lucky enough to see them in their natural habitat. After your gorilla trek you will return to the camp. Time allowing, you will go for a community/Village walk in the nearby village of Buhoma. For traditional dance, explanation of the Batwa how they used to stay in the forest before it was gazette to be a national park, hunting techniques and others. Dinner and Overnight at Silverback Lodge

Day 10 - Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast depart to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest lake in Africa. Relax; take a swim at this bilihazia free lake. Lunch at Bunyonyi resort. In the evening go for a canoe trip while you watch the beautiful sunset on unique islands with plenty of birds like pelicans, fish eagles and many others. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi resort

Day 11 - Transfer to Lake Mburo
Departure for Mbarara where you will have lunch before continuing to Lake Mburo. Upon reaching, go for boat cruise at Lake Mburo which is the biggest among the five lakes found in the park. Along the cruise, you will enjoy viewing birds like king fisher, pelicans and many other wild life Dinner and overnight at mantana lodge

Day 12 Transfer to Kampala
In the morning, after breakfast transfer to Kampala, stopping at the Uganda Equator for a demonstration of how forces work.
